Full Strategic Plan

OUR FULL STRATEGIC PLAN

The board of directors and administration of Rosarian Academy are committed to the oversight of continuous improvement of the educational environment of the school. At the beginning of 2013, over 40 members of the Rosarian community reviewed the 2009 Strategic Plan. This group, composed of current and past Board members, administration, faculty, staff and community members, met for a two-day period to share ideas and cohesively chart the course of our school for the next five years.

The revised Strategic Plan received its final approval by the Board of Directors in March 2013. Below are the six major categories of the plan, along with the goals and rationale

I. Catholic Identity and Mission (Governance/Board)
Goal: Rosarian Academy, with its unique relationship as an independent Adrian Dominican institution, will deepen and reflect the values and mission of the Adrian Dominicans as a Catholic institution.
Rationale: Rosarian fosters a foundation for life that permeates all aspects of the curriculum and student involvement, emphasizing Catholic teachings, addressing the spiritual growth of students of all faiths, and creating a spirit of community, service and leadership.
II. Program
Goal: The educational program at Rosarian Academy will continue its legacy of academic excellence and rigor while preparing students for a lifetime of learning, service, leadership and spiritual fulfillment in a global community.
Rationale: By providing a strong academic, moral and spiritual foundation, Rosarian Academy encourages students to make a positive difference in their environment. In addition, the school will continuously update and improve its programs to ensure its relevance in a rapidly changing and interconnected world.
III. Students and Enrollment Management/Marketing
Goal: Achieve full enrollment with a culturally and geographically diverse student body. Position ourselves as an independent Catholic school, in the Adrian Dominican tradition, committed to offering a superior education that prepares the whole person for life.
Rationale: A larger enrollment enables us to achieve our goal
and increase our visibility in the community at large.
IV. Faculty, Administration and Staff
Goal: Rosarian Academy will hire and support administration, faculty and staff who adhere to the highest personal and professional standards and promote Catholic values.
Rationale: The quality of the school is directly dependent upon
the quality of the faculty, administration and staff.
V. Stewardship: Development/Finance
Goal: Rosarian Academy will foster and support a culture of shared responsibility and financial viability.
Rationale: This shared responsibility and fiscal discipline will result in a financially stable institution.
VI. Physical Plant and Facilities
Goal: Rosarian Academy will maintain and build facilities which provide a welcoming and secure environment to fully support and enhance all of the programmatic activities (academic, artistic and athletic) of the school.
Rationale: It is important to maintain superior facilities to attract
and retain well-rounded students, faculty and administration to become a cornerstone in the community.
