Rosarian Academy seeks part-time after care teachers to supervise young children 1-2 years old. Candidates must be patient and love working with children. Responsibilities include planning activities and games for the after care participants. Hours are 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm M-F. Candidates must have the state required 40 hours, or begin them right away upon employment.

  • Rosarian Academy seeks qualified coaches for boys flag football, boys lacrosse and girls basketball. Interested candidates should have experience in working with middle school age children in a sports environment, as well as a minimum of two years playing and/or coaching the relevant sport.

  • Rosarian Academy seeks a part-time (with the possibility of becoming full-time) Teacher’s Aide in the early elementary level beginning on August 18th, 2017. The Teacher’s Aide, under the supervision of the classroom teacher or division head, performs the necessary duties to assist in the planning and implementation of a program for the regular and special needs of children in the classroom. This person must be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with Rosarian Academy’s educational mission, vision and values.

  • Rosarian Academy seeks substitute teachers for daily instructional needs. This is a per diem position that is required for Early Childhood, Lower and Middle School. Qualifications: A BA degree and experience teaching students in one or more divisions: Early Childhood, Lower School and Middle School. Teaching and or Assistant Teaching experience is preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills as well as a love for working with children or young adults is required.

  • Rosarian Academy seeks a part-time (20 hours per week with the potential to reach 30-40 hours per week during peak season) individual to serve as its next Advancement Associate. This position is responsible for performing clerical and computer data input duties for the maintenance of alumni and donor information. The Associate has significant responsibilities in the areas of data research, gift entry and acknowledgments. He/she ensures that all cash gifts and pledges are accurately recorded in the Advancement database and reconciled with the Business Office. This position is responsible for ensuring that the database effectively captures constituent information and generates accurate financial and analytical reports. The Associate assists in implementing new giving opportunities, fundraising events and alumni relations, and attends events as needed.

    Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

    Alumni Relations:

    1. Serve as lead contact/liaison for alumni research and reporting  

    2. Assume primary responsibility creating comprehensive alumni database

    3. Coordinate alumni tours and events (as requested)

    Advancement Support:

    1. Manage donor records in the Advancement database

    2. Process gifts and reconcile with Business Offices

    3. Generate acknowledgments for tax purposes

    4. Provides support for The Rosarian Fund, Rose Ball & Auction, and RAFA activities

    Requirements:
    Education:

    • Associate degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Successful completion of Level 1 and 2 Background Screening and VIRTUS Training.

    • CPR Training.

    Experience:

    • Minimum one year data entry or administrative assistant experience

      Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments from a variety of staff and volunteers.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism.

    • Self-starter with the ability to accomplish projects independently.

    • Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google. Knowledge of Donor Perfect and Blackbaud preferred.

    • Ability to work with and relate to internal and external audiences.

    • Ability to handle confidential information, work with and relate well to staff and community.
    • Must be a team player.
