Photo/Media Advisory: ‘Do Your Part’ Earth Day Celebration Friday, April 13

WHAT:
In observance of upcoming Earth Day, Rosarian Academy fifth- and sixth-grade students will spend this Friday morning, April 13 outdoors teaching environmental concerns and ideas for improvement. This year’s Earth Day theme is “Do Your Part.”  The Middle School students will teach their schoolmates in grades K-4th, 7th, and 8th via creative visual “earth-saving” projects, including topics on recycling, endangered animals, alternative forms of energy, and the affects of pollution.

Early Childhood students will have the opportunity to enter a virtual world of science and astronomy through the South Florida Science Center Discovery Dome which will be set up in the Theatre.
