Rosarian Academy Mission Statement
Rosarian Academy, founded in 1925, is a private, coeducational, Catholic school sponsored by the Adrian Dominican Sisters. Its mission is to educate the whole person for life in a global community in the light of Gospel values.

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
The Library Media Center is open each school day from 7:30 - 3:30 for book selection, study, projects, homework, or research. Aftercare charges begin in the Media Center at 3:30 when a child is unaccompanied by a parent.
Circulation period: Lower school may borrow two books for two weeks; Middle school may borrow two books for four weeks. All students are required to borrow one book from within their ZPD (AR reading level) and a free choice for their second selection.
Overdue books: Students are accountable for all books checked out and Overdue Notices are sent home weekly in the Thursday envelope. An overdue fine of one can of food for each day a book is late (max. 10 cans) will be imposed on all students. http://www.crosministries.org/pantries.htm C.R.O.S. Ministries is the very worthy recipient of any food collected. A student will be required to pay $13 for a lost paperback book and $17 for a lost hardcover book and all borrowing privileges will be suspended until the either the book is returned or the fee is paid. Students have the option of replacing the lost book with a like copy (softcover or hardcover) in place of the fine.
